Vegan Yarn Studio Updates

Pakucho Additions

Pakucho Additions

I'm looking into adding more options of Pakucho cotton, in colours, yarn types and put up. First of all, I'd like to add a colour or two in Worsted weight only. Worsted is the best selling yarn, so I thought I'd fill it out a bit more. Here's what the colour options are. We already have Deep Green, Sage, Desert, Natural, Vanilla Cream Pima, Brown and Rust. So it could be Avocado, Forest Mist, Vicuna, Cafe, Moka, or Chocolate. I'd also like to try a one off of yarn on 1kg cones to see if weavers would like that. I...

Learning How to Weave

weaving

I started taking a weaving class this September, and I purchased a used 36" Leclerc Artisat floor loom a few weeks ago. Coming from a knitting background, I've gotta say, weaving is a whole new thing for me! Wow! Looking at my yarn now feels totally different from a weaving perspective. ADVENTurer KAL

ADVENTurer KAL

Day 5 It’s now Day 5 of Ambah O’Brien’s ADVENTurer Knit-Along, and we’re now well underway. I feel like now I’m more comfortable knitting the lace pattern now. I’m not exactly an avid lace knitter, I tend to enjoy more structure based, or simple patterns, mostly because I just enjoy the rhythm of knitting, so I typically choose patterns that are quite basic, but this is a fun dip into lace for a change. Looking on Ravelry, the KAL is quite popular. I chose Pleiades Brights & Speckles kit. Here it is so far It shifts to the right as...

The 8 Most Gorgeous Finished Projects with Vegan Yarn

I've been doing a bit of routine site maintenance, and one of the things I did was to add a link from the different yarn base pages to ravelry projects that have been made with that yarn. Whenever I browse through projects that people have made with yarn that I've supplied, or dyed, its so inspiring and exciting to see the beautiful projects, and what great ideas people come up with! There are dozens and dozens of jaw-droppingly gorgeous projects that I've seen made with Vegan Yarn lately, but here are my top eight most recent favourites to get you...
