This dye batch had multiple issues, and doesn't meet the usual quality standards, so the price reflects that. The colour rubs off no matter how much I tried to resolve it, and the texture just feels off. There's some variance between the depth of shade, and the two skeins photographed together show the most extreme variance in the bunch. If you're looking for some yarn for a project where you know it's going to get rough treatment, like a pet bed or blanket, so you don't want to get something that's too dear, then this is a great option.

There are three distinct batches (turns out the issue was most likely the dye itself). They look almost exactly the same unless you hold them side by side. One is a tiny bit lighter, one is right in the middle and one leans ever so slightly teal-ish.
