Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING:
Please allow 1-3 days to process your order. Expect an email within 1-3 days to let you
know your order is on the way. Please be aware that local holidays may affect how long it takes to prepare your order. Occasionally, orders do take a little longer due to illness, long weekends, lots of orders to get through etc.


STORE PICKUP 
Orders can be picked up at nearly any time as long as you notify us ahead of time when you'd like to pick up. An email will be sent when your order is ready. When you arrive, your order will be waiting for you hanging under the mailbox by the front door.

LOCAL DELIVERY
During checkout, enter your address and choose the local delivery option. Local delivery is available for addresses within New Westminster.
If the local delivery option does not show up during checkout, your order is not eligible for local delivery.
Local delivery is weather dependant, as your order will be delivered by bicycle.
When your order is ready for delivery, you will receive an email with real-time tracking
information. If you'd like to arrange a time for delivery, please make a note of your availability in the notes field during checkout, or email info(at)veganyarn.com


DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES:

Canada-based orders are generally shipped within 2 - 7 days via Canada Post or UPS.
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and
displayed at checkout.
Orders in Canada and the USA are eligible for free shipping over $75 CAD, excluding bulk/wholesale orders.

Wholesale products are not eligible for free shipping.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
We offer international shipping to the following countries nearly everywhere.
At this time, we do not ship to Portugal due to their regulations on textile imports.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Vegan Yarn is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original
condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs and a 5% restocking fee for the return to cover expenses incurred in running the return. If you prefer, we can issue store credit which will allow us to waive the 5% restocking fee.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info(at)veganyarn.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
