This dye batch had multiple issues, and doesn't meet the usual quality standards, so the price reflects that. The colour rubs off no matter how much I tried to resolve it, and the texture just feels off. There's some variance between the depth of shade, and the two skeins photographed together show the most extreme variance in the bunch. Feel free to request skeins that are closer together in colour, or mixed etc on the note in your order and I'll do my best to accommodate your request depending on what's available. If you're looking for some yarn for a project where you know it's going to get rough treatment, like a pet bed or blanket, so you don't want to get something that's too dear, then this is a great option.

Get the cozy, stretchiness that's so fun and soft, now for thicker projects like hats, sweaters, and other garments. It knits up satisfyingly fast, and holds it's shape well. The elastic content and texture helps even out your stitches, so your work always looks smooth and even. Hyades blooms with washing, so you'll see it plump up nicely.

Machine wash cold/cold for best results. Wash separately the first time, do not soak or wet block unless previously washed and rinsed thoroughly. Using a washing machine on cold for the first wash especially is the best way to keep the colours looking bright and fresh, especially with high contrast colours.
